This is a suburb that is a bit off the city of Melbourne. It is located about 23 kilometers east of Melbourne’s CBD. The centre of Ringwood is based on Maroondah Highway which is the continuation of the Whitehorse Road from Blackburn.

This is a suburb in Melbourne Australia which is 2 kilometers on the north east of the central business district. This was the very first suburb that the city of Melbourne had and happens to be the smallest suburb that Melbourne has. On each side Fitzroy is bordered by Victoria St. Parade, Alexandra Parade, Nicholson Street and Smith Street. One of the busiest streets in this suburb is Brunswick Street which has several shopping outlets, entertainment joints, eating places among others. It is a suburb that is inhabited by people of diverse cultures and social classes.

Six kilometers south of the central business district of Melbourne is the suburb of St. Kilda. It was named St. Kilda by a former ship master who settled in this area after a schooner Lady of St. Kilda which moored at the main beach for most of 1841.

The Melbourne Airport is the only international airport that serves the Melbourne metropolitan area. It was previously and some people still refer to it as the Tullamarine Airport. For you to get to the city of Melbourne by air this is the only airport which serves this city. It is also the second busiest airport in Australia and has been operational since 1970.
